Diana Frohman and her performing dogs
Diana Frohman and her famous dancing dogs Henry and Eddie are back to entertain you. Gaby the newest dancing dog will be joining them. Diana and her beautiful dogs will also do a special demonstration on how they learn some of their tricks. Come join Diana and her dogs for a very special show that will delight all ages. There will be a photographer for attendees to take pictures with these beautiful golden retrievers for a nominal fee.
Maximum K9 Service
Maximum K9 Service will be doing a four part demonstration including advanced obedience with some agility, a scent detection demonstration featuring one of our certified bomb detection dogs, a tricks training demonstration, and lastly a Schutzhund demonstration, an advance working dog sport, which will include obedience, dumbbell retrieval and protection work.
Maximum K9 Service is a fully equipped indoor training facility in Deer Park inclusive of: Certified dog training programs from puppy to advanced obedience, as well as dog sports and Protection sports. They also have a full service grooming salon as well as a retail store. They offer all your dog needs from puppy through adulthood, dog sports equipment and a full line of healthy nutrition products, featuring naturally balanced raw food blends.
Doggie U K9 Academy, the largest indoor training facility on Long Island will be doing agility Demonstrations in the Dog Arena all weekend. Make sure you stop by their booth to talk to them They have many classes which fit the needs of dog and handler teams at every level.. Parade of Breeds –
Calling all purebred breed dogs! Participate with your dog in the Parade of Breeds to be held on Sat March 11 at 4 PM in the Dog Arena. Open to purebred dogs 6 months of age and up.

Rainforest Reptile Shows
Rainforest Reptile Shows- A multifaceted interactive educational program founded by Curator Michael Ralbovsky and Director Joaney Gallagher who are not only committed to each other but their love for all animals. Since 1993 they and their team have been educating about the natural world to improve the quality of our lives, teaching respect and educating all ages of the importance of not only the rainforests and its animals… but, all habitats!
The Rainforest Team herpetologists will be performing through out the day and Michael will be joined by Fred our STAR American alligator during their presentation. You have probably seen Fred with some of his friends…Jeff Corwin, Conan and many others. Be come a FAN!
The RRS mobile zoo will be open all day. This fascinating adventure through the unique and endangered reptile world allows you to get eye to eye with a rattlesnake, crocodile and many more amazing animals . Discover how these unusual misunderstood animals are an intricate part of the world we live in!! ( a nominal fees is charged to enter.. ALL fees collected go directly to the animals you are viewing and reptile preservation)
Don’t forget to stop by the US Fish and Wildlife Display by the Mobile Zoo ( plus the ones inside) This variety of artifacts from all over the world have been confiscated by US F & W Service through illegal importation. Learn what you can import and what you can not…One of the RRS Team members is always available to answer your many questions.
As with all our presentations there are opportunities for volunteers help us out and to get up close and personal during and after our presentations!

Rainforest Reptile Show
The International Cat Association Cat Show – Saturday and Sunday Only.
The International Cat Association Cat Show hosted by the Coastal City Catt Club. A TICA sanctioned cat show will be held this year at the Long Island Pet Expo See the usual and not so usual breeds of cats competing for the blue ribbon! They will also do a Parade of Breeds each day.

Rabbit Hopping? Yep, think agility for your bunny. Allikatt’s Bunnies will present an agility demonstration of rabbit hopping at the show all weekend.
After watching the fun-filled demonstration, there will be a seminar so you can learn how you can get involved in this sport.
Pre-registration for the classes preferred. Bring your rabbit in a closed bottom leak-proof carrier. Approved H-style harnesses required (available at show). Handler must wear sneakers to use the course. To compete in the competition, your rabbit must be able to jump at least 6-10” Easy Class; 10-14” Intermediate Class. Green Meadows Farm Petting Zoo
Kids will have a great time in this unique petting zoo! All animals will be displayed in colorful petting boxes for the visitors to safely pet and touch. Animals include: Frogs, bugs, toads, lizards, bunnies, guinea-pigs, giant tortoises, pot bellied pig, miniature goats, hedgehogs and chinchillas. Not only will you be able to pet all animals, you will also have the opportunity to purchase animal food to feed them. Friendly farm assistants will be available to assist in the petting of animals and to learn about Stickers the tree frog, Tickles the Hedgehog and more *

The Long Island Pet Expo is proud to present the first ever Long Island Dachshund Derby from 1pm to 3pm Saturday and Sunday. All pure breed as well as Dachshund mixes are invited to compete in this family friendly event. Competitors will race head to head to find out who is the fastest Dachshund on the Island. Specials prizes will be given to the top three racers each day, but all dogs will receive a special entry prize upon arrival. All participants must pay the admission to the show and there will be a $5 entrance fee for the race. All entrance fees and donations from the event will go to local Dachshund rescues. Entries will be taken up until 12:45pm.

The Long Island Parrot Society will be at the show with different species of beautiful parrots to educate the public about these birds .

Willow Pet Hotel will be doing Grooming Demonstration at their booth all weekend long.
Pet CPR and First Aid
Do YOU know how to help your pet in an emergency? This highly interactive training class provides hands-on skills practice in a variety of life saving skills to help “pawtect” the safety and wellness of pets. Geared towards pet parents, pet care professionals, animal rescue volunteers and emergency service personnel (no prior training or experience required), it is taught with a “real world” approach by a 25+ year seasoned emergency medical care provider and educator who has “been there, done that” having administered these life saving skills thousands of times in the ﬁeld – there is no substitute for experience!
Course content (hands-on skills practice)
• Emergency Muzzling/Restraint
• CPR/Rescue Breathing (Canine & Feline)
• Choking Management (Conscious & Unconscious)
• Bleeding Control/Shock Management
• Splinting (Fractures)
•Safe packaging/transport of injured pets
Students will perform skills practice on a canine CPR mannequin and simulated pets (no live pets of any size/species permitted in class with the exception of bonaﬁde service animals).

Step into the magical work of butterflies. Learn about their life cycle, see them flutter around you and have a go at feeding them. All part of the live Butterfly Experience. Partnering with the US Wildlife on conservation of butterflies informational materials will be provided. There is a nominal fee of $2 Adult and $1 child to enter the Butterfly Garden which includes about 200 live butterflies, painted ladies and monarchs that families can feed.
Dr Stephen Katz
Dr Katz is thew inventor of the 3 Therabis formulae and is the founder of Therabis LLC. The products are currently being sold worldwide. He is one of world’s experts in the medical use of cannabinoids in dogs. He will be giving a talk on the medical use of cannabinoids in dogs and explain how Therabis effects the endocannabinoid system.
Joanie Baloney Face Painting
Joanie Baloney Face Painting creates beautiful face art at the Pet Expo for children of all ages. Kids are treated to a very special face painting experience full of color, detail, and dazzle. Afterwards, you can take magical photos of your kids as you explore all the wonderful attractions of this remarkable Pet Expo!
