Gail Mirabella and The Dynamo Dogs
Gail Mirabella and The Dynamo Dogs perform all over the country with their entertaining dog variety act. The Dynamo Dogs are veteran performing dogs and they demonstrate everything from trick dog show routines to Frisbee® dog acrobatics. Gail and her talented dogs have appeared on Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America, The Today Show and many other national and regional television shows. And she is been the featured act at the National Dog Show and the Westminster Kennel Club event. Through a unique combination of Gail’s circus and competitive disc dog experience she has built a truly one-of-a-kind canine variety show featuring her outstanding Dynamo Dogs!
Johnny Peers, Muttville Comix
Sit! Stay! Get ready to howl! Johnny Peers and his personality-plus canines are coming to tickle your funny bone! A Ringling Brothers Clown College graduate, Johnny Peers has been working with dogs since he got his first puppy, Freckles, a Beagle mix, from the Humane Society in 1972. Since their 1980 debut, the Muttville Comix have appeared on David Letterman, Primetime Live and Circus of the Stars, and at Disneyland, Busch Gardens, the Big Apple Circus, the Royal Hanneford Circus, even The White House!
A show for the whole family and the dog lover in all of us, the show stars mostly dogs rescued from shelters or pounds, like Daphne, the world’s only skateboarding Basset Hound; Squeaky, the ladder climbing Fox Terrier; Mr. Pepe, who only responds to commands in Spanish; and Sir Winston, the Pointer mix who only answers to “Sir.” The 2003 Animal Planet Pet Star Winners, the Providence Journal-Bulletin calls the show, “…a truly funny, slapstick dog act.”
Come meet and see Disaster Working Dogs show how they find people missing in a disaster. Plus see their amazing Ladder Skills. We will have someone hidden in a barrel out of site of the canine and send them out to find that person. Plus we will have ladders and planks for the canines to climb up and over to show their agility skills. You will also get the chance to meet each one of the working canines.
The Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo will be having the exciting sport of Flyball again at the show this year.The Hard Drive Flyball Club will be hosting a Flyball Tournament at the Pet Expo – they will do demonstrations on Friday night and the Tournament will take place Saturday and Sunday.
Flyball is a dog sport in which teams of dogs race against each other from a start/finish line, over a line of hurdles, to a box that releases a tennis ball to be caught when the dog presses the spring loaded pad, then back to their handlers while carrying the ball. Flyball is run in teams of four dogs, as a relay.
Parade of Breeds
Calling all purebred breed dogs! Participate with your dog in the Parade of Breeds to be held on Saturday January 13th in the Dog Arena. Open to dogs 6 months of age and up. There is no fee to enter but everyone must pay the admission fee to the show. Pets must be healthy, free from parasites and have all necessary shots.

Rainforest Reptile Shows
Rainforest Reptile Shows-A multifaceted interactive educational program founded by Curator Michael Ralbovsky and Director Joaney Gallagher who are not only committed to each other but their love for all animals. Since 1993 they and their team have been educating about the natural world to improve the quality of our lives, teaching respect and educating all ages of the importance not only the rainforests and its animals ….but, all inhabitats!
The Rainforest Team herpetologists will be performing through out the day and Michael will be joined by Fred our STAR American alligator during their presentation. You have probably seen Fred with some of his friends….Jeff Corwin, Conan and many others. Be come a FAN!
As with all our presentations there are opportunities for volunteers help us out and to get up close and personal during and after our presentations!

Buddy’s Pet Resort
Buddy’s Pet Resort will have their Mobile Grooming Van at the show and will offer free nail clipping.

Rabbit Hopping? Yep, think agility for your bunny. Allikatt’s Bunnies will present an agility demonstration of rabbit hopping at the show all weekend.
After watching the fun-filled demonstration, there will be a seminar so you can learn how you can get involved in this sport.
Pre-registration for the classes preferred. Bring your rabbit in a closed bottom leak-proof carrier. Approved H-style harnesses required (available at show). Handler must wear sneakers to use the course. To compete in the competition, your rabbit must be able to jump at least 6-10” Easy Class; 10-14” Intermediate Class. Guinea Pig Agility
Guinea pig agility? Come check out our agility course for guinea pigs. We will have the course available to try out. Come see Super Agent Ruby as she learns the course. Bring your piggie!
The Delco Bird Club
The Delco Bird Club will be at the Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo with various species of their birds and to provide information on pet care, diet and information on the birds’ natural habitat. They will also educate the future buyer to the many responsibilities in the purchase of a pet bird They will be there Saturday only.
Illusion Ranch Alpacas
The softest, cutest, most cuddly critter that you will ever meet. You can see colorful, gentle alpacas at the Illusion Ranch Alpaca area where you can meet them up close an personal, and have the opportunity to feel what’s been called the “softest fiber” in the world-baby alpaca fleece!
There will be an educational display where you can learn about these beautiful animals.
DOGLOVERSDAYS LURE COURSE
Your dog will have a blast running the lure course. Your family dog can let loose and be a star as they have fun running the agility lure course. A fee will be charged.
Step into the magical work of butterflies. Learn about their life cycle, see them flutter around you and have a go at feeding them. All part of the live Butterfly Experience. Partnering with the US Wildlife on conservation of butterflies informational materials will be provided. There is a nominal fee of $2 Adult and $1 child to enter the Butterfly Garden which includes about 200 live butterflies, painted ladies and monarchs that families can feed.
