Diana Frohman and her famous dancing dogs Henry and Eddie are back to entertain you along with some new members of the team. Diana and her beautiful dogs will also do a special demonstration on how they learn some of their tricks. Come join Diana and her dogs for a very special show that will delight all ages. There will be a photographer for attendees to take pictures with these beautiful golden retrievers for a nominal fee.

Doggie U K9 Academy, the largest indoor training facility on Long Island will be doing agility Demonstrations in the Dog Arena all weekend. Make sure you stop by their booth to talk to them They have many classes which fit the needs of dog and handler teams at every level.. Along with a full slate of agility classes, we have classes in obedience, puppy kindergarten, basic obedience, conformation ring training, rally and numerous special dog events are held at our facility year round. www.doggieuk9.com

DogLoversDays Lure Course

Your dog will have a blast running the lure course.Your family dog can let loose and be a star as they have fun running the agility lure course.  A fee will be charged.









Parade of Breeds –

Calling all purebred breed dogs! Participate with your dog in the Parade of Breeds to be held on Sat March 3 at 4 PM in the Dog Arena. Open to purebred dogs 6 months of age and up.

Dogs must be healthy, free from parasites and have all necessary shots.


Rainforest Reptile Shows

We’re back!! Once again Rainforest Reptile Shows will be visiting The Family Pet Expo.

Co- founders Michael Ralbovsky and Joaney Gallagher along with their staff will be bringing along some wonderfully fascinating animals. All of the animals appearing are obtained through confiscations from Fish and Wildlife, law enforcement and some are just unwanted pets… They are receiving a second lease on life at our 501 c 3 animal sanctuary RRS Oasis. We will provide presentations daily and you may even have an opportunity to take photo. The staff is glad to answer all your animal questions with over  100 years of combined experience!

Which came first?? The alligator or the egg?  This unique program brings you from the alligator through their life stages all the way to FRED! If haven’t meet Fred here is your chance. If you have check out his friends and hear their stories. This is a fun and educational presentation for all ages about this often misunderstood reptile .

The International Cat Association Cat Show – Saturday and Sunday Only.

The International Cat Association Cat Show hosted by the Biker Cat Club. A TICA sanctioned cat show will be held this year at the Long Island Pet Expo  See the usual and not so usual breeds of cats competing for the blue ribbon! They will also do a Parade of Breeds each day.



Rabbit Hopping

Presented by Alikatt’s Bunnies

Rabbit Hopping? Yep, think agility for your bunny. Allikatt’s Bunnies will present an agility demonstration of rabbit hopping at the show all weekend.

After watching the fun-filled demonstration, there will be a seminar so you can learn how you can get involved in this sport.

Pre-registration for the classes preferred. Bring your rabbit in a closed bottom leak-proof carrier. Approved H-style harnesses required (available at show). Handler must wear sneakers to use the course. To compete in the competition, your rabbit must be able to jump at least 6-10” Easy Class; 10-14” Intermediate Class. The Long Island Parrot Society –

The Long Island Parrot Society will be at the show with different species of beautiful parrots to educate the public about these birds .




Butterfly Experience

Step into the magical work of butterflies.  Learn about their life cycle, see them flutter around you and have a go at feeding them.  All part of the live Butterfly Experience.  Partnering with the US Wildlife on conservation of butterflies informational materials will be provided. There is a nominal fee of $2 Adult and  $1 child to enter the Butterfly Garden which includes about 200 live butterflies, painted ladies and monarchs that families can feed.









Joanie Baloney Face Painting

Joanie Baloney Face Painting creates beautiful face art at the Pet Expo for children of all ages. Kids are treated to a very special face painting experience full of color, detail, and dazzle. Afterwards, you can take magical photos of your kids as you explore all the wonderful attractions of this remarkable Pet Expo!








The Martial Arfs

“The Martial ARFS Carle Place, Long Islands most exciting dog training facility, will be doing their signature obedience & exercises demonstrations. Inactivity not only leads to weight gain but many behavioral issues can be associated lack of physical and mental stimulation for your dog. Teaching you dog the obedience they need while providing fun physical activity is the best way raise a happy healthy well behaved canine companion.”

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning  bring children face-to-face with animals, nature, and hands-on science!

They will be at the Long Island Pet Expo all weekend with some animals such as a Barred owl, Cayuga ducks and chinchilla an  African bullfrog and scorpion for all to see and learn about

They will be doing presentations in the demonstration area with some of the animals.




Pet Portraits Fun

Visit Pet Portrait Fun booth to watch the Artist, Michele Cahill, live at work, illustrating a Pet Portrait at 1:30 to 1:45 pm and 3:30 to 3:45pm.  After her live Pet Portrait painting demonstration,

join her for a brief Q&A on what goes into creating a painting.  She will be answering any questions you might have on getting a custom painting done for your pet.”
